Anyone know good but reasonable resprayers in Berkshire, live near Reading.

total BMW did a respray for £500. Doesn't have to be the best, just good enough to make her look good during the summer.

Saw a mention of some guy in south wales, within other forums, anyone used him, will travel if good.

Not going to spend £1500 + on a car which is worth only a grand just

If your going to do it, do it properly, and spend the pennies, i could happily point you in the direction of many sprayers that will do it for less then £1000, but wether it gets done properly or not is a different thing...

Bodyworks in Camberley, just behind Surrey Car Radio on the A30 if you happen to know it. Talk to Iain the boss, great work and sensible money - tell him what you want and he might be able to sort a deal. 01276 709319, or if you go there, you need to turn into the entrance where McDonalds is, but instead of going into their carpark, take the little access road that goes behind it, and it will lead you up to their yard.

Sunnyside Auto's in Reading (Robert Cort Ind Estate on Britten Road, off Elgar Road South) are very good too, but I don't think you'd have much luck at that budget. If you still fancy your chances, talk to Melvin (the owner) and ask him to consider pound notes, especially if you're not in a rush and they can fit it on somewhere as a filler job. Might also help if you are able to do some of the prep work yourself, stripping off trim and the like.

The total bmw car was not a full paint job, cost more than £500 and costs were kept down because the author/owner stripped and refitted the car and helped out flatting it back etc.
