i took this out an E30 in the scrappy yesterday and fitted it today, however it looks and feels a bit big, could it be someones took it from a 5 series or something and fitted it?

it fits no probs but im considering puting the original 4 spoke back on

Yeah I think so too
It is as James said a "Sports" steering wheel, though it's not the same as the M Tech ones found in Sports.....if that makes sense
It's a nice wheel for gentle driving, nice and comfortable for the motorway etc. as you can rest your palms on it.
Is the 4-spoke definitely smaller then?

Could it be from a e34 or something? cause my sport/luxary/se wheel is def the same size as my old plastic fantastic 4 pronged one.
Choas, I seam to remember Scott or someone saying something similar.

just went out and checked, the outside diameter is the exact same as the 4 spoke, must be an optical illusion
maybe because of the big open dial viewer bit and chunkier rim?

the e34 5 series, and the e30 sport three spokes are the same size exact, before I got the tech 2, I replaced the worn sport one from my e30, witht he one out of me e34 and they are identical. on the back they say e30 or e34

must be an optical illusion Mad
Perhaps its because its got one less spoke, so you can see more of the clocks,,,,

piccies would be nice then
also if its bigger than the 'sports' wheel that i currently have, then my fat thighs wont fit betweent eh wheel and the seat

I had one out of a late E28 Lux model. Fitted straight to my convertible and was the same diameter of the 'same' wheel I replaced it with (was in better condition, and for a fiver, it was a bargain!)
