Just went to pick car up after having 6 branch fitted.... what a nightmare they had, its blowing in two places where it sits on the head, and they said it could do with being machined flat!!, its going back on Friday for them to have another look

Not doubting its fine now, just an arse to fit, so glad I didn't take the job on myself!! would have been swearing like hell lying on my back!!Karan wrote:it was fine when i had it and made 213hp on my 2.7
Did you have any trouble with it rubbing on the steering shaft??, I had a look while they had it on the ramp and it looked hell of a close, and is definatly rubbing on something!!!

the collectors are where the 3 'primaries' (each individual pipe from manifold) join to form one pipe which is called the downpipe..... the joint is called the collector as it collects the gases from each of the primaries
