You mean the mesh-type? They're out of production. Saw a set of 17" on a belgian website with 2nd hand parts.

17"x10 ET20, 5*100 with 4*100 adaptors

you'll have to excuse my ignorance but how come 2 companies can make the same design? The BBS and the Borbets cross spoke look the same (to me at least)

Are they the same or different and I just have not been looking close enough? Is is also just a case of NLA and you have to hunt around or another case of euro politics (with us being left out again..?)

OZ and TSW made ones that look even more like the BMW ones than the borbets.

BBS tend to be split rims too.. borbets are often one piece!
