Stroking a M30 engine

Hi Fellas!
I'm kinda new in the Zone and am a proud owner of the South African version of the E30 M3 i.e. the 333i.
I will post some pics of the box once my restoration project is completed.
Basically I wanna know whether it's possible to stroke a M30 engine as well as whether this would offer any gains and what the possible losses I must expect if I do go the stroke route.

yes it is possible to have a larger capacity

3.5 is available

racing dynamics did 3.8 veriosn

sounds like you have an interesting motor there. pictures will be needed

If its the m30 we all know love (with hammers) then bmw made a 3.5 version

i didnt realise racing dynamics did a 3.8

sweet i will have to find out more info about that just to know about it.

M5 crank and bigger bore would give 3.8 ala http://www.38csi.com/
