I really feel like driving a long way now!
There was a racing driver in the 30's who if he had nothing to do would jump in his car and drive from London to Monacco, do a lap of casino square and drive back!

Anyone else fining it a bit boring that Clarkson always seems to win the long races to Oslo,Switzerland etc.A bit staged methinks.That Aston though

an old Aston DB7 Vanquish went past whilst I was walking the other day...

you know how in the Bond film when he's having the chase with the Jag on the Ice lake and in the Ice hotel, and the Aston makes that noise that's SOOO good you think it must have been added on after filming?

It REALLY REALLY sounds like that.

I've been to Monaco for F1, and it sounds like dinosaurs fighting (as the noise echoes back into town from all the surrounding hills), but nothing comes close to that Aston

ps I don't think blowing up a powerboat engine, and then smashing the Rib were in any way staged....

I think so...how else would they get all the camera footage, etc, and JC must have had a car following all the way, with all the camera equipment etc

the SLR is just a daddy of a car, i have been a passenger in one and to say it flew is an understatement. the thing is stupidly fast and it can stop alot better. the sound itt gives from the charger is just amazing. one heck of a motor love it.

i know mate

. also been in an F1 but not on a drive, just sat in it but i still got the biggest eric

. Maclaren hq is only 2 mins down the road from me and luckily my uncle has a mate who is one of the engineers at maclaren. they are generally nice guys down there. dont mind you looking round if you ask nicely.
