it's probably got the 530 diff still fitted which ups the acceleration alot. The 6th gear will help the economy i expect on a cruise otherwise she'd be buzzing!

Nice car, but why use the 530 badge? It would be so much better if he used a badge from a 518....

I drove one similar (530i wagon with a 4.0) and it was bastarding quick. That would be nice for a Bag.

Its amazing how shabby it looks on the old rims in comparison. Could be a right sleeper if you could afford to fuel it. I'd be tempted to leave it looking shabby and sell the wheels to pay for towards the fuel.
