I would have thought a local scrapyard would collect it. A few weeks ago scrap cars were fetching £120.00 ish but weighed one in this week and only got £80.00 ish. (it was only a mot failure pug106)

iS did you say? 1.8 or 2.5, and does it still run? Coz i know a mate who may be a wee bit interested in a 1.8iS engine and i may well be interested in a 2.5iS? could be a way to quickly cover the scrapping cost.

i thought you would have known the answer to this rosco I learnt it last night, someone put up a post asking where you could get a 2.5is

apparently although there wasnt a 2.5is people who own genuine sports sometimes call it a 325is rather than a 325i sport.... creating the idea that there is a 2.5is

let me see if i can find the link

No they don't. If they call it a 325is then they're stupid

The i.s. was an affliction confined to 4 pots.

Sport is a sport is a sport. Nowhere on the car is there a standalone 's' to mislead owners into such halfwittedness.

If you can't get it lifted without wheels etc cut it up... even just for the fun of it. I was in the same situation but didn't have a trailer, I managed to get it gone with 4 trips to my local scrappie with it in the back of my tourer

If you do go down that road, use a bigger grinder than I did... LOL

Just look in the local paper or whatever for those adds that say 'we will buy your scrap car' etc etc. Any of those gyppos will take it no problem.
