you need to use the "direct link" address on the right hand side of the page on photobucket and then repeat what you did with the other link.. if that makes sense! welcome to the zone! :thumb:

Think I've seen this car around. I like the E36 1.9 M40 idea. Does it go well all tuned up?

i had to have the center box removed due to that lol.... the rubbers went at the rear box, now all fixed, tightened up the manifold and down pipe and refitted the hanger at the rear of the center section due to that snapping off when it got caught on speedbump with the center box still on, just replacing the front pads tonight, dont think theres ever been a week where i've not spent any money on her lol....

nice.... dam steve at the meet has gone and put the idea of putting an m42 engine in mine, trouble is i cant get the idea out my head now, so i think i will have to do it!!!

The anti roll bars you fitted do they just bolt on? Any idea of the difference between them and 318 ARB's.

they just bolt on yeah, i replaced all the drop links, nuts, bolts and replaced bushes with red polybush ones, the 325i arb are thicker 19mm opposed to 15mm i think plus 318i dont come with a rear one! :x

Which means what? 19mm isnt a huge amount different to 15 so how does that exrtra thickness help? worthwhile mod do you think? (sorry to post hijack) and are they big money?

sorry about the 20 questions there are some parts to do with cars I am not so familiar with, and other I am

well thicker metal takes more stress to flex, i think its worth while yes, but obviously the polybushes help too as there a harder compound than standard bushes, also adding rear arb helps as the cars missing one from the factory lol.... i brought mine from bmw spares in charing (ashford 01233 713447) for about £25 but had all paint peeling off them so took them to windridge coatings in st peters (01843 604474) and had them powder coated, same with my wheels.... hopefully soon having complete subframe done and front one then another full respray and fuel tank.... hope this helps mate

oh yeah i know windridge (outside is where i first thought the picture of your car was taken) maurice (speedtouch) mentioned the breakers at charing today to hunt down an iIS engine, they want about 450-500 for the full kit and kaboodle, if thats what i have to pay then fine, but i bet one could be had cheaper somewhere, just got to keep my beady little eyes peeled

then i have to look for somehwere to do it, on the roadside outside my gaffe is perhaps not the best place

certainly look into rear ARBS at some stage then
