I've done a search but have been unsuccessful.

Is there a step by step muppets guide to the mod on 2dr tech II sideskirts to fit convertibles?
After speaking to the Shaz the other day I am aware of a mod whereby you make a cut somewhere in the middle of the skirt to stretch it to fit, but I'm not sure exactly where it should go, how long/wide, how many etc.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

No you don't need to cut the side panels at all.I've done mine ages ago and everything fitted as it should.
Have you tried to offer them as they are??.
Pics of mine are below.

Hey Rav. Yes I have. They don't fit. They are bowed and the bottom lip doesn't wsit up against the seal.
They are currently on the car. Hang on I'll see if I can find a pic.

No The clips won't fit as the lip on the side skirt sits about an inch & a half from the seal that the clip sits on.
It's a geet that's for sure.

£20 says Mr Dips will be able to show me wha to do blind folded. 8)

Cab mtec2 side skirts are totally different, much deeper than hard top ones.

The yearmodel doesn't matter.

yes, they can be fitted but no way the install will be clean.
