I'm on 180k

167k on the 325i cabriolet.
Was recently on a banger rally (not in the E30!) where someone had a real shed of an e30 325i that had done 240k! Made it all the way from Calais to Prague with no problems!

On the low mileage front have a 1992 325i convertible with just 64,000km on the clock, a genuine 2 owner full service history 40,000 miles. Totally original, rust free ex Hong Kong car.

109,000 on my 318i tourer
220,000 for the shell on my e30, 16000 miles on the donk and 155,000 miles for the sport box and lsd.
150k on the engine or so, 203k on the body.
Engine now makes more power and torque.

89,000 on my 1994 316i Touring
Thanks, but its been up Yorkshire until I got given it. It still has the original dealer plates etc so I might give the garage a ring and see what they say.town325i wrote:if it was serviced at radfords (now knights) they will have a record of it so you can buy a new one ask for baz he will help you outpugboy wrote:My iS is currently on 47k. 165k on the red one ( that's 13,000 miles boosted too! ), 113k on the vulcan 318i family wagon.
Ex-cars:
84 318i chromie was scraped with 168k
90 318i facelift was broken with 160k
89 318i ( removed engine and fitted that to the vulcan one ) was showing 150k+ although engine was only a few years old.
86 528i - showed 180k when I sold it on, ran very well for a small block m30.
Other cars:
1975 VW Beetle - 1300cc - Super beetle - 203k showed before body parted company with the chassis.
1981 VW Golf Mk1 - 1100cc - crank began to shake itself free after 150k, you could see the crank move about 20mm off centre when it was running and STILL would do 105mph flat out!
There are more but I can't or don't want to remember some of the sh1tters I've owend, LOL

Can't recall all the other cars I've owned, let alone their mileage!!
I did have an E28 525i, though, that had over 250K miles when I sold it and, prop joints apart, was running perfectly.
Highest mileage cars I've had, though were E34 530i (M30) that had 275K miles when I rolled it on the M4
and a Peugeot 505 STi auto saloon with nearly 400K miles when the autobox packed up due to a) towing my racing car with it and b) my g/f driving 250miles with the handbrake on!
Currently have a Mercedes 609D panel van with nearly 600K Km on the original engine and box...only the diff had to be rebuilt (before I owned it) at 350K Km...
Worst cars:
Nissan 200Sx S13 that the engine expired on (broken piston rings/damaged bore) at 135K miles and an Alfetta 1.8 that needed new liners and pistons and 75K miles...
