I was sat in traffic and a woman came round a corner way too fast and slammed into the back of me. i had my pregnant mrs in the car aswel but she's fine. Unfortunatly yeah it was a write off, the boot floor was crumpled and twisted.
It was on ebay for sale as parts, she's now in manchester, the bloke who bought it wanted the engine. The plate went with it.
Never mind... i'm now looking forward to getting the new one. got big plans for it. i'll keep everyone whose interested posted on the progress.

the new plate is worth something too, to mg owners too, MGTF or MGZT, sure theres more too.

what really pissed me off was that A) the car was an immaculate example, B) My pregnant mrs was in the car and C) The bitch that hit me was driving like a twat and she pregnant too!!!

how long ago was this? hope you sold the car with log book as its still on insurance databvase as insureded and used basicly go to askmid.com type in ure numberplate and it says still insured

lol, thats news to me. cancelled my insurance ages ago. Unless its something to do with the fact im still going through the claim against her insurance for the value of the car...

no 7 day update so id check it out unless the plates are in use on a ringed motor???
you sold the car while in a insurance claim, omg i think that may be a bad move, unless they wrote it off and you brought it back??

lol, it had been settled, written off and i got to keep the car. just waiting for a cheque. checked with insurance and they confirmed it was all ok.

yer but if its still regestered as insured that means the vrm is regested as inuse!! id inform dvla if i was you,
but unless some one jigged it but it wouldnt of been worth it in my view
