Erratic (no, not erotic) speedo

My speedo has started playing up - gets up to speed, then needle suddenly drops back, back to speed etc etc - I am guessing the sender in the diff is playing up, or wires loose - will check tommorrow, but has this happened 2 anyone else? Could it be the speedo head? - I've got a spare, but its got 148k on it, compared to my correct 110k

Common problem, usually loose connection at the diff, or broken wires around that area, crawl under the back (it's easily accessible from the back of the car) and take a look.

mine does the same since changing the diff, i can't be arsed doing anything about it though

I get this, but only when going over the dartford bridge or through the tunnel...

don't trust that place at all

I remember you mentioning that before Raz,never did find out why then?
How is Newmarket then ? i grew up in Red Lodge ,what a dump!!

Nah, not a clue! Im yet to find anywhere else where it does it. Haha Newmarket is dull! DeNiro's is overrun by townie kids now (the whole town is actually). Im glad Im only here weekends over summer ;)
