hi im thinking of putting a e36 328i engine into my e30 320i,can anyone help me with a list of parts i will need to do the job,thanks for any help

Try reading the M50 developments sticky thread first. Its nearly all in there.........the rest is easily findable with a quick search.

Omi,he of Scumball Rally fame,has done this.He was trying to explain the complications caused by the ignition security system to us at the last Milkbar meet.He started with a complete E36 328i...may be worth having a chat to him.

Fitting a M52B28 is exactly the same as fitting a M50B25 with EWS. If you upgrade the 2.8 with a M50 2.5 inlet manifold, there will be very few external differences between the two engines, apart from the obvious difference in the block material.
