Cruise control - where does the actuator mount
Moderator: martauto
I've got a cruise control kit, and I think I'm ok on most of the stuff, apart from I can't figure out where the actuator is supposed to mount. Could someone point me in the right direction or send a photo?
Cheers,
Richard

I think it mounts near to or on the air box / inner wing...

Mine also looked like a piece of tube, but give it a good tug, and you will find that it's actually a plastic sleeve protecting the thread.Widge wrote:That bit without a nut, on mine is just a bit of rolled tube welded on. So there is no thread to use a nut on

Nope no rubbe mine's definetly a bit of tube, looks like a rolled cotter pin cos it has a seam and i can see right down the middle. My bros cab had a stud on his when we put criuse on that. I'll take a pic later.
