Did the 4 door with it a few days ago(pics taken today) and i wont be going back to meguairs.

Dont know what the autogylm stuff cost but this cost £12.50 from halfords and came with applicator sponge and fibre cloth and judging by the amount i have use you will get well over ten polishes from the 473ml bottle.
I think it a really good value for money polish and you can go over everything with it.

The initial finish it gives seems to be pretty good, But what's it's durability like?
It's certainly an interesting looking product.

An alternative to the Ice is the Autoglym aqua wax. It retails about the same price and works well. You can really smell the carnuba wax in it.

interestingly the autoexpress review is the only poor review i've seen of the meguires gold class.
a product i bought on hype alone, but was amazingly dissapointed by. smells nice, easy to apply, utter pain to buff off, looks ok, lasts about 5 mins. tried it on several different cars and it's never given a reult i've been happy with.

									cheers,
harry

Just gave mines a second coat of ice
Crap picture but i think its shinier that the first time.
I left in for 15mins before buffing this time rather than the 5mins it says on the bottle.

for best best results with wax i would start with insulator wax 845 last up to a year and is detergant proof. then top off a couple of hours later with a finishing wax. my mate uses dodo juice purple haze. and im usiing chemical guys express carnuba wax.
i wouldnt touch auto glym or turtle wax as there just crap halfrauds jobies. meguirs gold class wax is ok but and absolute pain to get off and is not very durable.
but make sure before you wax you use a sealant. im currently using chemical guy m-seal and chemicals guys jetseal 109. ive heard some really good results also from poorboys exp

I used turtle wax ice today gave off quite a bit of a shine but i want to give it another coat jus to give it that extra bit as you do tend to miss a few spots.
chrisdovey1 read through yours sounds like you put alot off effort in to your detailing on your car have you got any pictures?

What a load of bollox. Never used the turtle wax product but I only ever use auto glym and for the money, it's god value. The auto Glym extra gloss protection lasts ages on my daily drives and the ultra deep shine definately makes a difference especially on dark colours.

I used to use Autoglym SRP and then the gold finish stuff and was always impressed with the results but I found the white dust a pain in the bum....I now use Bilt Hamber autobalm and I'm very impressed.
