back to the subject of barn finds, has anybody had the email about some guy from new york who bought a "worthless" barn in spain which had the metal doors welded shut.
turns out it belonged to a not long passed away fellow and the property was being auctioned off.
the guy from new york went to check out the place and when the doors were grinded open inside sat a whole load of classic cars. some mega rare !!
i bet the guy from new york never went back to work.
its a powerpoint presentation, im just taking screen dumps and will put it up here in a min ;)

A tomb of riches! I'd be slightly nervous as to what I'd find in a welded up barn... but fair play! That sure is one hell of a collection.

Not in E30s any more

WOW! Word fail me, what a find!
Good luck with the 325i by the way.

i did think it strange that this many cars could be forgotten, but you would think the owner would at least clean one or two of them every 50 years or so LOL
specially as I bet a few of those are worth serious $£$£$£ !!!
madness...

My apologies for misjudging you!
although I have a love for making a car go the wrong wayand thrashing it within an inch of its poor life
I also have a love for classic cars and good quality driving - ie smooth and good road sense.
this car will see no big exhausts, no air filters, just a loving restoration to 100% original spec.
maybe some bbs split rims
A man after my own heart, well done with diggin that out, I thought mine was a bit of a find when I brought it, but you've just p*ssed over my effort, lol
