I'm sure i read on here a while back about resetting your ECU somehow to get it to re-learn your engine's characteristics to a degree. How do you do this and what exactly does it achieve?

How's the head today then Mark?

I just had a thought that after changing my head to a ported one with an uprated cam, would it be worth resetting the ECU so it can re-learn the engine as it runs now, or does it do this automatically anyway?
