Hi to all,
I've just fetched some very nice wheels for my E30, Alpina 15x7 ET12, type 09.
they are the original wheels fitted on E21's Alpina, quite a rare catch.
I heard that the can fit on E30s but would like to have some of your experience...
Do you think they will fit with a -30mm lowered of the car and with 205/55-15 front and back ?
If not then maybe they can fit with 195/60-15.
I've already been to the tyres size calculators like this one :
http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.js ... t1=&text2=
but it doesn't tell me much about how big are the front and back wheel wells of the E30...
I am pretty sure they will fit, but if somebody with experience has tried this offset and relatively small size before, I would love to know.
You guys fit 16, 17 even 18 inches wheels on your E30 so I am pretty confident.
Hope you can have an answer for me.
Cheers / Pierre

The standard ET for 7x15 on an E30 is 24 so there is a 12mm difference I suggest a trial and error fitment.
you may need to extend/roll the arches or fit a spacer

Have I got it backwards or does that mean the wheels will be 12mm further outboard than a standard set?

You are right, Spacer will make things much worse...StuBeeDoo wrote:Spacer would make the problem - if there is one - worse.zimmerbimmer1 wrote:you may need to extend/roll the arches or fit a spacer
i think the wheel well of the E30 is quite big, but it might actually rub in the inside front fender plastic cover.
Anyone else got any more feedback ??
