Bird shite stains

Any advice on removing bird shite stains on the paintwork. I've already tried a bit of t-cutting followed by waxing, but no joy

The problem with bird shite, is that it's acidic, and actually etches into the surface of the paint. The only way to get rid of the marks, is to remove the damaged paint.

It can be buffed out if not too deep, or failing that, some very fine wet and dry (2000 and/or 3000 grit) to remove the marks, and then buff it back up to a shine.

It's not something you want to play with unless you have access to a paint thickness gauge, or you could quite easily take too much off, and be greeted by primer (or remove the lacquer on metallic paint).

if they have been on there log enough they can shrink and crack the paint i bought a 325i last year the was pebble dassed in the shite all over it and every panel was damaged buy it even after a few hours with the mop and g3

I've just noticed that when I cleaned my car. Good its only small.
