Does anyone know how to access & install the resistor pack on a euro spec 325i?
It is not in the same spot as the american e30's with the resistor pack in the acutal blower motor. It appears that I need to remove the dash to access it, I thought i'd ask before destroying the interior of my ride

Very simple. On RH drive cars all you have to do is remove the inspection panel above the glovebox, and then the one to the right. The resistor pack is coloured brown, with several wires going to it, and is just in front of, and partially hidden by the electric heater valve. It just unclips and pulls out.
On LH drive cars, I would think you just have to remove the panel above the driver's knees.

The OP contains this:"It is not in the same spot as the american e30's with the resistor pack in the acutal blower motor.", and since all US spec cars seem to have air con, where the resistor pack is in a similar place to the pre facelift cars, I took this to mean it has the post facelift type.

Mine's an 86 , and i,m almost certain that you get to it from the engine bay. However your's being an Italian, LHD?, may well be different. If you do a search for resistor, or Fan only working on position 4, you will find both means of getting to it. Hth.
