I know i havent been a member that long but would like to meet some of you lot, how does Andover in halfords carpark (SP10 4DU) big anoth location and out the way for sunday 31st august for 6pm sound i know it short notice but away on hols the week after, so who up for it?

hello mate, goin to airport that day sorry, in the future you need to give more time for people to look at a meet.
also we normaly do southern meets at burger van portsmouth , or new forrest as both are near central for regulars, also easy to find .

If I'm finished with the autotest I'm doing earlier in the day I might pop by but I'll be in my e36 "Redshed" unfortunately

ive just looked and there is a local meet goin on in andover on the same day and location so there could be a few cars turning up of all kinds but no matter what if i see any of you lot ill be sure to pop over and tlk as i really need some ideas on my car

Not going to make it I'm afraid, my e30 is out of action and I've just limped my e36 home after the autotest. I hit a cone square on and thought nothing of it until a test later my engine over heated in a major way, apparently I'd folded a plastic cover back and stopped the fan. 3 minutes of full throttle at very low speed obviously didn't help the situation. Flushed, refilled and bled now but I'm going to leave the car alone for a little while and inspect tomorrow. Poor showing from the bmws unfortunately out of 12 entries the bmws occupied the last 4 places.
We fuelled up and were on the road, the heavens opened around Southampton !!
Did not think it a wise move to continue as we would be soaked standing in Halfords carpark.
My apologies, hope the message from Gordon got through to you on time !
Hopefully you can make one of the planned meets in the near future !

Yeah the weather was crap but we popped over to the underground parking after waiting for someone to turn up.
Not a great loss i have to admit, just the local lads in hatchbacks. I spoke to Mike at halfords he seems like a nice chap but i fear he may need guidance to steer him away from the council side.
