Will depend if you have a helper or not.

If you have somebody to pump the pedal up and down, then all you need is a short length of hose to push over the end of the slave cylinder nipple. (Slave cylinder is found on the side of the gear box) Either jack the car up and place on axle stands, or park the vehicle with one side bumped up a kerb, you should then be able to crawl under.

Attach tube to nipple, and drain into a suitable container ie jam jar, undo nipple and get your assistant to pump the pedal up and down untill the fluid runs clear. Get you handy assistant to keep an eye on the fluid level in the reservoir and top up as necessary.

If you don't have someone to help, then you need to buy a bleeding kit, and follow the instructions on the side of the box.

Best of luck!

P.S Why didn't the garage bleed the cylinder???

P.P.S i think the spanner you need for the nipple is 11mm... give it a squirt of WD40 to help loosen it first.

semi sorted last night....

Jacked her up, un did the bleed nipple on slave cylinder and waited !!

Nothing happened so gave the pedal a couple of quick pumps and still nothing came out. Un did one by one all the connections along the system but all we were getting were a couple of tiny drops. Spent about an hour or so getting no where. The resevoir wasn't going down but the clutch felt perfect with the bite about 2 inches from the floor. All gears select fine and it drives perfick. Not sure what more we can do or whether to leave it and keep fingers crossed ??
