Thank you very much for that Jackie. Is there a convenient layby between the M27 J3 exit and Broadlands? May be a convenient place for people to meet? If I can give you a bell tomorrow eve if necessary Jackie, that would be brilliant. (Hope that was an offer...:D )

I suggest 915-930 somewhere near the main exhibitors entrance, and I'll head up to the gate to let you all in.

It may be that you can just give the stand name and number to get in, which is Stand 53, E30Zone. Will let people know.

Hi Gordon

There's an a/p if I am not here and I'll call you back. You'll know it's us as Terry coughs and splutters on the message!

The other thing I'll do on Monday morning is to check the thread for any one giving notice of "no show" but I imagine they would call you as you've given your mobile number (but I'll check the Zone anyway at 8.45) Need to leave home 9.00, actually, 9.10 would get me there on time - too embarrassing, the nearest ends up being late! It's 3 miles from home.

If it helps, I guess I could come down on Sunday to collect the passes, but, actually, I don't suppose it makes that much difference, does it?

Terry has a suggestion (which I think is rubbish) which is that people meet at the Ower Service Station / Texaco / Macdonalds on the roundabout A36 /M27 exit 2. In my opinion, the car park is not easy to find and small. Crap idea, but he thinks it's great! Two sides of a triangle, whereas exit 3 is just one side.

You suss it, I'll post it!

Enjoy your evening - tonight and tomorrow and we'll speak tomorrow and meet on Monday

bye for now
Jackie

Thanks for the number Jackie. Much appreciated, though have your mobile from Sherborne show. (Edited the post above to take it off for you.)

If there's somewhere easy at J3 or just outside Broadlands, then probably better for the masses. (no offence to Terry's suggestion at J2, but love your thoughts on it... :D)

Will give you a call when we get there tomorrow. Hope the rain stops by then. Well it's raining in Poole at the moment, hope it's not heading your way.

Cheers
Gordon

Jazzman, only kidding mate. Maybe having something decent on our stand will bring the masses to look at our cars too... :D

Though they'll probably flock to see Paul's M3 and Jackie's Baur too.

Thanks Gordon - very much appreciated and kind thoughts re my car too.

Also raining here now. Let's hope for better weather in next two days.

Um, struggling with better idea from exit 3 to Broadlands / Romsey without people going out of their way so maybe better to meet at the Rapids / Sports Centre as entrance to Broadlands.

Otherwise, from Exit 3, I can only think of one horrible pot holed layby which would probably take 2 or 3 cars, but as I would not want to park my car in it, I can hardly recommend it for others.

We'll speak tomorrow

They need de-rusting and doing properly... Cleaning doesn't help much :(

When time, money and Gaszman's assistance with sandblaster allow, I'll get em done.

Hi Gortour, I'm coming from the Chichester direction from what I can tell no one else is coming from my way.

It's gettinga bit confusing as to wear to meet. Just wondering weather your suggestion of meeting at the gate is going to be agreed.

If anyone else is coming from my way let me know and I'll meet up with you.

Truds........

truds, from Chichester you'll be picking up the Portsmouth lot on your way past won't you?
Davidt, Suchy and Adit will be coming your way in that case?

Paul, if you have a camping stove, that would be most handy, we'll be using disposable barbecues otherwise. Breakfast is bacon rolls I think. Tan's not happy about the weather for camping, hope Jess is happy enough, and your good lady Rob...

Hopefully you'll only need to tell them we're on stand 53. We'll probably be nearer 5:15-5:30 but no probs meeting at exhibitor gate mate. I'll bring Tan for the washing up... Ow, stop hitting me Tan...

Got sauce, beer, bbq tools, table, chairs, tent... Think Rob's got the food sorted. :D

Don't think so mate, as you say, just yourselves.

Bear in mind the ticket is for the car and two passengers, so if you are bringing both your children, offload one into someone else's car to get em in free.

See you all there. :thumb:

That's disappointing Adi, javascript:emoticon(':(')
Sad
I do hope you will be able to come tomorrow.

I spoke to Gordon earlier and he said that Paul had wi-fi wizardy and they would try to post from the field!
Could not hear music, fun or laughter as I drove by just now although I did from them earlier. No doubt they're having a great evening even though it's a bit damp and chilly but NOT RAINING.

They were only interested in the camping money when we arrived, so will sort out what's needed in the morning.
If needed, I'll leave tickets at the gate, or wait there for people.

My number again 07974 914 962 for later comers...

Cheeers, Gortour.

(Cheers Paul for the Zone access.)

And Adi, you only need one of Dave's kids in your car long enough to get them through the gate. :D
