compaired to the m3 behind it? i dont agree. the e30 isnt ugly , i like the boxy arched look but the new m3 is a chunky looker with the power to match. a better all round package. pity i dont have the cash to buy one.

Like them both, but for me the new M3 is more refined and understated looking.
You can also fit it in one parking bay winkeye

thats an old'ish M3 behind it. would need to be a E92 to be NEW.... and i think the e30 has got more road presence and kudos

The e30 has charm and it's own personallity. The newer one's all look the same on matter what you do. imo.

im not saying i wouldnt have the e30 m3, but as an all round package the e46 version has the power to back up the chunky aggresive looks.
perhaps an e30 m3 with a decent engine would be more appealing?

The E30 M3 has a decent engine.

Just because it doesn't have 'much' power doesn't mean it isn't capable.

I'd still chose the E30 over the E46.
