Sorry to repost, took off front hubs and bearings fell apart. Can you reasemble on new spline, or do you need to order new wheel bearing. Read some where that bearings come with new hub! Thats wont be cheap.

Im putting in Hottuning shocks and dampers. When I pulled off the hub the rear flange that holds the rear bearings in was still on the spline and the bearings all over the floor. So i need to get that bit off the old spline, to reasemble, was asking if it is a pig or easier to replace the lot?
Very tired as i got stung by a wasp in the crease of my arm whilst using a spanner , that was two days ago and it aches like flak!

ive posted on your other thread with regards to this. i had a similar thing happen to me on a sunday when i decided to change the back plates whilst fitting new callipers. i didnt have new bearings as i wasnt going to do them. mine came apart but i caught all the innards and cleaned and regreased them and reassembled the bearing.
i thought id give it a go as worst case id have a noisy bearing and id have to change it. its been fine since and its been on a few fairly long trips at reasonable speed. if you do give it a go just make sure its spotless and well greased.

It is normal for the rear race to remain on the stub axle, that happened to me,just use a small puller or a pair of screwdrivers to lever it of.Try to avoid marking the stub if you lever the race off.Whilst Beardymatt reassembled a bearing set and I respect his opinion and skills it is not good practice, the key part is absolute cleanliness..for the cost of a bearing set it aint worth the hassle of doing the job twice.
