Z1 wheels.. style 10 in BMW terms.

8 series, very nice car, but a 3k one will be a money pit, they are very expensive to put right, not E30 prices for sure.

OK then with a little more info this time, it uses E30 engine transmission and front suspension (albeit revised), so the parts that hold the wheels are esentially the same as an E30 so yes, the wheels will fit.

Better Nathan?

Much better! :D

Otherwise, a completely different animal, with details such as the downforce invoking rear silencer!

There is a 325i diamond schwartz convertible round the corner from me with a tech2 kit and z1 wheels. Looks ok but i wouldn't have them on any e30 of mine.

Tell tale!! Fitted them for the milkbar meet last Friday night...but it was a wet night and I do not think anyone took any piccies...Dav-d kept looking at my car and finaly asked what was different about it!!! Even Andyboy was positive..kept clipping kerbs though when parking and those well worn rears are very noisy, gone back tothe bottle tops until they are worn out though!! Defo different to that Z1 at the top of though,Andy said that they were German market only so I wonder how they ended up in the UK?

Excellent. Not sure about the german market only as they were definately on the touring they came off from new. Theres an e34 running round here with a set on also. They are quite a bit different to the Z1's rims when you actually compare them. The Z1's spokes are a lot thinner for a start.

Did you feel it took a bit of the nimbleness away though? Driving e30's on bottle tops and then driving mine with the 15" cross spokes, mine feels a lot heavier. on the 14's they feel more alive?

The spoke count is different as well, thought E34 had 5 studs? Car felt stiffer on the bigger wheels, but until I can drive on a road that I am wellfamiler with(like my cross country commute towork winkeye )I would not like to be too critical.

They are so easy to clean over BBS. Yes the e34 has 5 studs but still style 10. I've seen an e32 with them on as well a couple of years back.
