Hi Guys,

a friend of mine is going to look at an E30 Alpina C1 2.3.

Does anyone have any info on this model?

It's a 1984 and came from sytners, so I understand that they could be ordered in pretty much any spec you wanted.

Particularly interested in the engine spec if anyone can help.

Does anyone know how many e30 C1s were made?

Thanks a lot

Dink

The reg number may come up if it is still current on BMW main frame.

I'll give it a go

Sytners assembled something like 25 cars. They were not a success because frankly they weren't all that great and there are very few nice ones left - by nice I mean rust free, unrestored with good history. Most have seen a lot of action/rust/welding with most of the Alpina bits raped.

nice words too, the wing is well out of alignment on that cover shot.

I thought they built 50 in the uk? A good 325i is better as it has more torque than the rather cammy c1 lump

I believe this car was on Ebay about a month or 2 ago and at the time the seller was the same guy who has the B9 6 series on there at the moment...but which he says is a B10...but when he had it on Ebay a couple of weeks ago...it was a B9....?????
