Well ive done loads since i last posted on here so here goes..
Ive now got the whole front suspension fitted and all in place.
In the end i bought everything new every bracke the lot the onlt part of the suspension that was on the car before i started is the struts them selves whgiuch ive stripped and repainted.
Front end now has.
All new bushes
New bearings
New shit gaurds
New ARB's
New bilstain B8 dampers
New eibach -40mm springs
New top mounts
Ive just done the same with the rear to but not quite to the same extent
backs now all back up with
New flexi brake lines
New BMW brake pipes
New bushes
New Bilstain B8 dampers
New eibach -40mm springs
New M3 cab top mounts
New trailing arm, beam and diff bolts

I'am going to buy a spare set of trailing arms to rebuild properly when i get a chance.
Also took the last middle box out of it now by making a new section

Just seen the thread mate, looking as awesome as ever!
Good choice doing the suspension, really think you should be fitting a Z3 rack rather than putting the standard rack on, feels so much nicer to drive with one on.

Awesome iS, with some nice mechanical updates, not just the styling bits.
SE skirts would finish the look though and maybe color code the rear lip?
Two thumbs up!

Beautiful car! I've always liked IS's, no matter how much stick they get from the 6pot geezers! Keep it up!
Monty Python were right!i slid in to one of those plastic white and yellow bollards saying keep left!
How are you finding the Bilsteins and eibachs? What do you think of the ride compared to the Mtech suspension? Looks great btw.
Suspensions ace, better handling and and not realy any down side in comfort you just notice your abit lower and if you hit a big pot hole it does fell more like there less m ovemnt in the suspension but for normal bumps and stuff (cat eyes)you wouldnt tell the difference
noticed a big difference with the eccentric bushes ( or i think its them) when you turn it you can turn so far, say 1/4 of a turn then it starts to get harder as if there sesistance and it feels good as you can fell alot more because of the resistance keeping everything tight if you get what i mean.
Has any one else found the same with them fitted?

Yes, I noticed a nice difference with mine when I replaced the front bushes with M3 eccentric ones. Turn in is much sharper and you can feel the car biting harder into the road when cornering. The difference I noticed was like night and day.appletree wrote:noticed a big difference with the eccentric bushes ( or i think its them) when you turn it you can turn so far, say 1/4 of a turn then it starts to get harder as if there sesistance and it feels good as you can fell alot more because of the resistance keeping everything tight if you get what i mean.

Wheels and tyres were £830 delivered, they also came with free bolts and locking bolts and chrome valves.#
Thats a package price with the toyo t1-r upgrade in 16 x 7.5 which is the biggest you can get. dish and dia.
Can strongly recommend style dynamics to deal with. great service

absolulely stunning fella

Cheers, for all the nice comments
its dropped -40 -40 on eibachs
it could possible do with a slightly lower drop but it handles so well at the moment and the springs are still resonable new so they will probly drop a bit

I like the bit where you say you machined this, and then 'decided to make a new exhaust'... wish it was that easy for me hehe
