Yeh, saw yours dips but didn't realise you were from here, sorry mate
, was around when you started your MEAN machine though
, and those exhaust manifolds are tooooo close for comfort. Was it a really tight squeeze to get that in there, i'm just atarting out on the engine mod side of things with a m30 3.5, but having difficulty location a diff for the right price.Would love to have a v8 as the guys done with his black tourer.

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!
CR24v??? Where's it all gone?? LOL
you missed out me and Gazman who's cars wear stickers and Beardymat who wont sully his sport with any foreign body so that makes 7 plus steve (C5) for 8 in the main e30 line up...out of 16....not badB7 wrote:Unless you come and introduce yourself we are none the wiser. it was common knowledge on the other thread that zoners were in the main e30 line up. if you came over and said hello it would have helped us identify you. There were 4 zoners cars parked together for one. Mine, The diddlers, Barrys and Si's C2.7 touring. You couldn't miss us. I had a zone sticker in. There was never going to be a Zone stand flying the colours. That was never going to happen.
and cliffybabe was hiding his chrome on the pbmw stand...in case no one noticed the chrome

Our M Tech 1 Sport was parked on the green stuff on the approach road to the car park just after you went through the main gates (car park was full when we arrived!). I only recall seeing one other M Tech 1 car at the show, which surprised me a bit. Or, I may not have been looking too hard, we did however bump into Spadge and Oze30.

There was no way he was going to get that home under his own steam. Looked to me like he was driving it somewhere to "stage" the event for insurance purposes.pacerpete wrote:shane325i wrote:It had 15" on it i think, looked a nice car and seemed to have just spun out into a run off area, didnt pay to much attention as i was looking where i was going at the time!

Someone in M3 CSL, because M3 CSL's are soooo old, and require lots of time and effort to maintain and keep looking up to scratchSilverShadow wrote:Mandeep who won the show and shine???

Thanks mate, tis almost a standard 325,it has one of Speedtouch's chips and a Bmc filter but thats all for now.Seeing and hearing the V8 tourings yesterday has made me want one of those tho

I was there with Nat and thye kids, but we only managed an hour of walking around before Nat got tired and we had to go home.
Bumped into Counciller Pete in the car park and then Neil and his polisher I mean missus and his shiny cab.
I enjoyed looking round and there were some stunning motors. Even Nat enjoyed it and has given her a bit of enthusiasm for the E30. She's bookin up Santa Pod this week too.

Didn't see you there, I left about 1.30-2.00, phones Sunny but too long to wait and I think next year we should all agree a time when we should meet up and what part in the place, as said b4 everyone came in at different times.Shame.

I was the Chinese guy there. (not many of us were there, so it wouldn't have been hard to spot. I was in the first group on track and it was funny, everyone took off after the pace car except a few and then we just kinda raced round. No incidences when I was out, but passed a good few cars, came up behind a silver M3 and they looked with jaws agape and thumbs up! Had the driver of the Mcoupe come up and have a chat after the laps.. genuine enough bloke.
Managed 140mph down the longer straight, so not bad!

Yeah I finaly got to see Cliffy's cab, no Cliffy around at the time......
Health and Safety Officer: "What would happen if a cameraman were to slip over?"
Clarkson: "Well, he'd probably have to stand back up again"

I got to see the Echromie and the man himself. His polisher was also hanging about pretending to be his 'girlfriend'...DaveGT wrote:Yeah I finaly got to see Cliffy's cab, no Cliffy around at the time......
It truely is a site to behold Neil's engine. There was an E21 over by the E30 birthday section which IMO was a bit ott with all the braided hoses, alpina badges, gold plating and tin foil. Fair play to the guy, it was impressive but a bit too much in my honest opinion.
Cliffy's though is spot on. It looks fantastic and a perfect balance with the car. I tried in vain to rip the chrome arches off when he wasn't looking, but those feckers are welded on!
