Between 1990-1992 there was a BBC comedy programme staring Dennis
Waterman,Joan Sim's Kelly,Jenna Russell,it was called `ON THE UP`.
There were two E30`s in this programme.One of them was a 1989 white
320i cabby,and the other was a 1988 beige 325i (I`m not sure if it was a four door or a two door.The 325i is probably still running as I have checked it out on www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk(vehicle enquiry)(date of liability- 01 08 2008).But the cabby seems to of passed on around 2004
date of liabilty.The registration of the 325i is F534 JMV and the cabby
is F655 OOY.Does anyone know if they are still around. :banana:

I bet the BBc used the same e30 for Eastenders! It was probably locked in their dungeon all this time.

Dennis Waterman is a hero. Minder was just essential viewing back in the day, as are Sweeney re-runs. He's very good in New Tricks although his false teeth are a bit unnerving.

His Daughter is a bit of alright too. Not supermodel material but very tidy.

The Sweeney and Minder are classics, due in no small respect to John Thaw and George Cole and the script writers. Can,t honestly think of anything else half decent that Dennis Waterman has appeared in. New tricks, pplleeaase, not even close to being in the same league. Utter pap imho.

Sorry to spam your thread mate, Im not sure about the E30's in the programme in question as I cant remember the programme, But if anyone has info on an E30 Sport that used to be in Coronation Street in the Early 90's id be interested to know as it was my old E30.
