Thanks guys for the pointers, i'll try to get some further info together before going to Ant because I'm also thinking of going down the 2.7 route aswell as the supercharger, using the eta block with 325 pistions and eta rods, would this be mod work with the supercharger or would compression ratio's effect the supercharger operation.

What power output could you expect from the 2.7 mod alone and what power when combined with the supercharger.

190-220 for a good 2.7. Depending on the build type you can get more peak power or bags of torque. I'm not sure on the comp figures off hand but I'll be somebody here can give you some pointers.

Maybe you've already seen it but check here too: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/inde ... ding_a_2.7

thanks hoshy for the info,
have just been doing some futher reading up on things, to run more boost would i be better of running a 325i head with complete eta bottom end or swapping in the 325i pistons to the eta rods in the eta block due to compression issues.

Ive fairly recently completed the 885 setup using the 325 head, block and pistons with 323 rods and the eta crank. This gives a fairly low comp for more boost. winkeye

Still sorting out teething issues and just recieved the injectors so I will need to book it in with Ant to install the new injectors and a remap on the MS as i keep getting stuck everywhere.
