Glad you got it all sorted, its most annoying when you think you have a bargain only to get stuffed.

Could someone explain what the reason for these two comments is:

Birmingham isn't a no no, its just the ghetto kids and such that ruin it. To be honest if i get parts I ring up, and soon no if its going to be a time waster, and the ghetto comes out in there voices.

There are a couple of areas in Brum that if I saw parts for sale I wouldn't even consider as I know they will be "innit bruvs"

Totally agree with the comments above, but don't tar everyone with the same brush as some of the people from certain areas are ok.You only know when you've lived in birmingham, same I expect in every city though. You know the good ones from the bad ones.

Hi Guys I'm looking for some advice on this situation.

As stated above I have now been refunded via paypal for both these items at the start of August. The muppet who sold the E30 lights contacted me last week to ask if I would remove my feedback comments. I sent him back the following message -

You've got a cheek! After trying to con me and then disputing it when I tried to get a refund, you want me to remove a negative feedback comment. That's laughable!
I will NOT remove my feedback comments. They are a true description of the transaction.
Maybe this will make you think twice about trying to con people and listing items which are totally deceiving!

Then at the weekend the same guy won this item which I had listed for sale and has paid for it via paypal-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0296765187

It's my opinion that he's going to claim that the item is faulty/damaged/not sent - anything to make me look like a bad seller and leave me negative feedback. I have now blocked him from bidding on any of my future sales. I contacted Ebay about him and pointed out the fact that I have had a previous dispute with him and that I would rather not send the item to him and just give him a refund. This was their reply -

Hello Taylor,

Thank you for writing to us regarding the buyer "reubensutton" who asked
you to remove the feedback you left on their account on your previous
transaction. I'm sorry to hear you do not want to continue your sale for
the car part (item 150296765187) you listed.

The best thing to do is to phone the buyer and explain what's happened.
It's likely you'll be able to work out a solution together. Here's how
to request their email address and phone number:

1. Click "Advanced Search" at the top of the eBay homepage.
2. Click "Find Contact Information" on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Enter the item number for the relevant sale. You can find the item
number in My eBay. Click "Search".

We'll then send you an automatic email with the buyer's contact details.
Please be aware that we'll send the buyer your contact details at the
same time. We feel it maintains trust and fairness on eBay if members
are made aware when other members request their contact information.

Although this situation is beyond your control, please bear in mind that
when you list an item, you are committing to sell it to the buyer.
Remember that the buyer can still submit feedback, even if you send them
a full refund. In addition, they could report you as a non-selling
seller. It's important to handle the situation sensitively with this in
mind.

I trust this information helps you to resolve this situation amicably
with your buyer.

Kind regards,

Kalvin Victors
eBay Trust & Safety

Basically they are not interested in doing anything about this twat.

What do I do Guys?

It sounds like you will be receiving negative feedback regardless so you will just have to link the feedback to what went on maybe..

it sounds to me that your jumping the gun a bit you will only find out the reality if you send your sold items and as for the head lights it was clear from the pic imo that they where not smoked and as for that you should of asked before bidding

If the feedback is unjustified then eBay has the power to remove the comment; this was introduced after a spate of "account vandalism" where people bought items just so that they could leave feedback on people's accounts to drop the rating down.

Just go through it by the book and if he does anything naughty you've got the right, and eBay might, on your side. Then go to your account and block the c*nt so that he can't buy any of your stuff again.

The description of the items you are selling is very good, so it can not be said you have misled, like what alpina has said get the package signed for. That is what i do when i think i am dealing with someone with a lack of the grey stuff.

you should always get a parcel signed for . back to my plan, take a dated timed photo pre smash up , send it recorded then deny it was broken when you sent it showing the photo to show condition as you suspected the buyer would try this due to previuos history of which youve already spoken to ebay about.
childish perhaps but amusing.

I have been bitten a couple of times. I even had a dork who was interested in an MR2 I was listing for a mate who then got personal about the price, etc. It was amusing at the time and was one of those guys who just had to have the last word... I am sure he was gay!

Its true, friend of mine had all his buy it now items (about 20) bought by some nobber who then didnt pay but couldnt wait to leave neg feedback for every item. eBay eventually removed the comments and refunded the costs etc but it f*cked up his sales for over a week.

Thanks for advice guys (Good, bad and deviant).
I think I will just photograph the goods and post them to him recorded delivery and see what happens but I'm 99.9% sure he's gonna do a negative feedback. Will post the outcome at a later date.

Well surprise surprise. This idiot has filed a dispute claiming that there are parts missing! This is the message that I posted to paypal -

"Paypal, please check back your records and you will see the details of the previous dispute that was opened by me against this guy. Case Number: PP-509-251-085

Because I won the previous dispute (and rightly so) this guy deliberately bought one of my items just so that he could say that it has parts missing which it definitely did not. (I took photos of the item showing all parts were present immediately before they were packaged). He has then immediately went to a dispute. Surprised? I’m not.

When I noticed that my item for sale had been won by this guy and he had sent payment to my Paypal account I immediately contacted Ebay and expressed my concerns about his probable intentions. I informed them that if I was to send the item to him I suspected that he would say that the item was damaged or not received, anything to leave me a negative feedback. I asked Ebay if they could cancel the listing and I would refund him his money as I didn’t want any further contact with the guy. I also informed Ebay that he had contacted me the week before asking if I would remove my negative feedback comments regarding the previously disputed item.

Basically Ebay were not interested in getting involved so I reluctantly posted the item recorded delivery (at least he couldn’t say he never received it).
Now my prediction has come true and I find myself in another dispute situation through no fault of mine. I feel that this guy is being allowed to tell lies and cause trouble and inconvenience to innocent people. And to buy an item from an Ebay member with the sole intention of leaving untrue negative feedback is classed as account vandalism.

Ebay member Reuben Sutton has now been banned from bidding on any of my items for sale. If only I had known that it was possible to ban certain members sooner”¦.

I would also like to add that I have sold lots of similar items on Ebay with not a single complaint and not a single piece missing and 100% positive feedback. I think it speaks for itself when the first problem I’ve ever encountered as a seller has come from a dubious ”abuyer”a who did not like the outcome of a previous dispute I had with him.

In order to resolve this I will be willing to offer a refund of the purchase price of £12.50 only if he posts the item back to me via recorded delivery and that the item is intact with no missing parts!

I hope that Paypal will see through this guy and resolve this in my favour.

Regards

bm325boy"

I am seriously pissed off about this!!!! :x

As long as ebay make money, nothing else matters

My blocked bidders list has about 20 tosspots on it

I also used to contact ebay about shilling but they never got back to me and now you can't tell as you can't see the other bidders user names. :x

Another update on this -

Paypal awarded the dispute in favour of this pr1ck. So I appealed it and sent them faxes showing my receipt with the weight of the item that I sent him and the postage label on the package he sent back to me showing a lighter weight (due to the fact he'd stolen parts from it). They are doing F A about it. :banghead:

I also emailed Ebay about him. I checked further into his feedback and he has done exactly the same thing to 2 others and is in the process of doing it to a 3rd. In each case he has received negative feedback from a buyer and then in turn bought an item from them with the sole intention of starting a dispute and/or leaving negative feedback. I pointed out to them that this revengeful behaviour is account vandalism. They are doing F A about it. :banghead:
