bit of a random post i know, but i found e36coupe.com the other day whilst looking for general e36 info, and joined their forum which is currently at http://www.bmwowner.com/forum

on friday on my home pc i could access and post in the forum with no problems. however, last night and tonight here at the GFs i can't get on at all.

after a delay i get an odd error message about not being able to find the ip address of the site.

if anyone else can get on the site i would like to know, as it means it's either down or it's a problem my end. if it is something odd going on here what could be causing it?
cheers,

harry

its a cheap runaround, as using the m3 or lancia daily started costing too much. i don't earn huge amounts, and £100 a week on petrol was getting silly.

fortunately my e36 has a fair bit in common with the e30, just no rust
cheers,

Been down since last night. The severs were having an update, but obviously there is an issue now.

Will be up and running asap.

Up for sale mate. The e30's a better car  . I was talking to Si yesterday and we were agreeing the e36 is now officially in shed country as the e30 was 3-4 years ago.

I was about when E36coupe.com was set up by a guy named KUL about 6 years ago. that was when we were all on the ECP forum before I got banned for calling ECP C*nts! after they couldn't supply the right suspension for my 525 e34! We held a couple of meets up at the cock inn at Headley in Surrey.

yep, there are certainly plenty of sheddy e36s about, but tbh, i probably see more scrap dodging e30s around than chavved up e36s.

build quality on early e36s was patchy, but a good one is still a well built, nice to drive car. they are just about at their lowest point right now, but as e46 values fall they will be the next aspirational car for people with a couple of grand for something nice to impress the neighbours with
cheers,

harry
