Hello,
I've just brought the 318 that was for sale on this forum. It is going to be slowly transformed into a rally car.
I'm just curious what people would recommend for suspension upgrades for fast road use (read uneven tarmac instead of smooth track). Also budget is sort of a problem at the moment so any good upgrades that can be sourced from higher spec bmw models are very welcome lol. The ride height needs to be maintained as best as possible.
Vented front brakes would also be useful - what are my choices there please?
Once all suspension is sorted the plan is to transplant a m42 so the suspension has to be able to complement this if at all possible.
Any advice is much appreciated, the suspension currently on it is scary lets say lol as I discovered on a wet roundabout yesterday - not going to lift off in a hurry again.

There is a rally series for the 325i and Pug 205 called the 'two wheel drive championship' or similar.
They should be able to have loads of tips on there although there are few threads on here for sumpguards etc. Also a company who put the S14 motor into an E36 compact shell with sequential box, big brakes etc...
