hi All,
Im here in cape town south africa. i picked up an LS-DIFF 3.64:1 ratio, got it for R1200 or equivalent of GBP 80-00. a bargain!

the guys at the breakers yard seem to clean it up nicely, but its still not clean enough for my liking.. i want to clean it up nicely before installing it...

its got a bit of dirt, but also some "surface rust" not really rust rust..perhaps rust like oxidisation...

was thinking engine cleaner and a scrubbing brush?

any other ideas?

cheers
Anton

loads of engine degreaser and wire brushes should do the job

might be worth changing oil aswell before putting it back on :D
