turn around and say "sorry sir your insurance policy was canceled a week ago" ?!?! all of a sudden... "wait a second il just transfer you through to the revalent department" turns out they made a BIG mistake on my policy thinking id missed muliple payments when it was their fault each time, get told my policy is back up and running and am advised if pulled over i will be fine!.... so.... as i had a drive that night i needed doing off i went.... picked some people up started heading home.... bang..... car goes off like an xmas tree behind me.... 6 hours later my car still wasn't shown as insured on the database ¬_¬ after 30 mins of talking to the cops and even though i had no proof of insurance at 1:30 in the morning they believed my story and let me go (decent bunch of police for a change) ok... so i phone my insurance in the morning.... explain whats happened.... they say go the cop shop with my producer and get them to call up.... now.... the cop does this... insurance tell him jack all and he says "he doesn't have time" to fill out all the forms for the insurance and so im being reported for driving without insurance and if i drive my bmw it will get seized...!?!?!
go home again.... phone em demand a manager straight away as now im going to most likely have to go to court for all this, manager bent over backwards will be given free legal advice for everything, any fees paid for, and have also insured me on the only other car i have access to which is the only bonus out of all this.... a Golf VR6 at 19 years old.... so they are not particularly happy about all this either as it is all free of charge for as long as i need it for.
now my question is does anyone know really what i should be preparing for as obv the police are going to try and find one way or another to deal with me and should i take any action against my insurance company as this could of been a whole lot worse, i still haven't received any letters even telling me that my policy was cancelled!
