Was out playing with my point and shoot digicam last night, also took a hobby snapper with me. Between us we took these, hope you like them.

p.s. - Yes, I know my bonnet isn't closed properly!

Very nice! What springs and shocks does that have? I'm currently looking for some for my iS and like the way that sits.

Still looking a bit untidy in there... Have been too busy driving it, grinning and getting it to run cooler to tidy away the wires, get rid of the vacuum valves and heatshield the intake.

Will post bay pics up soon though. :)

It's an H&R Cup Kit... I got the 325i version, as Sal says this is best for the iS. - Not convinced, as the front was a little flyaway, but a few more kilos from the M52 has helped massively... ;) H&R ARBs tomorrow.

its funny how you can make ICI look so glamorous :D

i think you should get some 205/40 or 45 on those tasty borbets cause they look slightly big at the moment IMO. will handle a bit better too :D im sure you know.

have a look at my picture thread to see what they look like with less tyre wall (see link in my sig) :D

looks good man

I do indeed. - I've made alloy spacers for the trailing bonnet latches. - It's all very secure, just a pain to get the bonnet catch at the front to click sometimes!

Struggling with cooling the powerhouse at the minute, plenty of work to do, so may be able to revert to a standard-fit bonnet soon.

Viscous fan on the shelf, may have a measure up. - E36 fan fits in the front panel very nicely. 18" 2-speed expertly fitted by DanThe for a reasonable fee.

Not sure if they will be right.

When I had my M52 put in still with 325 springs, it understeered like a supermarket trolley, and never felt solid at speed ! Changed them for springs intended for a 316 and all is now good :D

are you bonkers??? no offence it just sounds mad! the 316i springs are much softer so should encourage better front end turning because the back will be much stiffer but wont you just be riding/cornering on the bump stops?

i guess if it works it works 8O are they standard 316 spring and how high does it sit? if it helps with the understeer on a m50 it might help if i ever get my m30 on the road :D

oh and yeah i forgot jaffro had a e28 3.5 rad for a day or so :o: so Omi you should try and fit it if you can but i guess you should be fine if DanThe set it up, he knows what he is doing from the sounds of it.

his m50/52 is built from an alloy block base and weighs the same as a m40 roughly.

they are 40mm lowering springs. and it sits the same height know as my 316 did on the 40mm lowering springs.

If you want a BIG radiator then fit an E36 M3 rad, it will just about fit in the bay but you need a separate header tank and with the top hose being right over to the NS it doesnt leave you with much room for an airbox

I have the 325i H&R cup kit on my iS as well, and I agree, it is very twitchy around corners, but once you get used to it its not that bad.

Nice car Omi, when does the scumball start?
