Hi All.
Just some pics of my 325, with white grills replaced with black, custom air intake in place of headlamp and bmc carbon dynamic airbox fitted.

To be fair you cant really hear the cda if you have anything more than a standard exhaust system, it just gets drowned out. I've had a couple of open filters prior to this though and i have to say although it doesn't sound as good, performance wise it has made all the difference. it really is a great bit of kit.

so it doesn't sound as good as other cone filters? I was thinking of purchasing one for the noise if anything, I also have a 6 branch and full scorpion exhaust

you'll certainly not hear the airbox over that then mate, got a full scorpion myself and looking for a 6 branch, so expensive though. if you are getting the same noise i am through your exhaust i wouldn't worry to much about a noisey filter plus there is no substitute for getting cold air into your engine. imo the open cones sound great but i think you lose a lot by dragging in warm air.

i had the same set up with head light removed and found no problem when it rained until it p***ed it down, then moved my feed to brake cooling duct direct to air box with 110mm flexible ducting and made hole at the bottom of ducting to drain any water, works much better now :D .... i like the livary on your car and the wheels are

rain wont affect a hot engine it infact cools the air charge, marganal but wont kill the engine but that car isnt ment to be ragged in the rain, i had a cai direct air feed on a primera and it was cool
