How did this go? What else did you need to know?

You should have had

1. Wiring loom
2. Control unit (silver box)
3. Stalk
4. Actuator with bracket for mounting on side of airbox
5. Extra throttle cable with all fixings, should be fastened to the actuator
6. Green connector plug, plugs into back of instrument cluster
7. Clutch switch if manual

Anymore questions, fire away as I've fitted 3 of these now!

Sorry for the delay in responding It looks like i have every thing.Problem is mines come off a auto and id like to fit it on to a manual.
The plug that goes to the brake peddle was bridged using a piece of wire!!!!
Thing is when i drove the car it worked???
To remove it i had to take the whole dash out.Do i have to remove the dash to fit or shall i run the wires another way?
Also it plugged into a big connector behind the glove box.Is this where it draws its power???Does my car have the connector so i can just plug it in?
What number fuse holder is it?What amp??

Some people sell some sort of cd that has the parts listings on.Would this have the wiring colour codes? The Haynes manual doesnt cover the cruise control loom.

Fcuk it how much you gonna charge me to fit it???

Thanks for the help :D

You shouldn't have needed to remove the dash to remove it all, you can run the wiring which ever way you like though.

To fit the set up to your manual car, you will have to get a switch and bracket part numbers are

Bracket 65 71 1 385 084
Switch 61 31 8 360 421

You will need this otherwise if you have the cruise engaged, and you depress the clutch the car will just rev to the redline and stay there until either you switch it off manually or the engine goes pop!

The big connector you mention will be on your car, the connectors are all unique, so the cruise shoud fit into one of yours no problem.

No fuses, it's all there waiting.

Don't have to worry about wiring colours, it's all plug and play!
