ok... following on from daves thread about him being caught drifting...
was pulling onto a dual carriageway today sideways and fishtailed down it a bit when i looked to my right and saw a cop car....
i thought oh bugger!!!
drove home....
then on my way to meet the lakeside convoy,... on a road near my house i saw a cop car coming the other way.... when it had gone past i saw it turn around in my mirror... he pulled me....
went on about how he saw me come sideways onto the dual carriageway... he then said that as i drove like a nobber he was going to be nobber and check my car over.... so he checked tyres/lights etc... which were all A1.... he did a vehicle check too and gave me a 7 day producer.....pheeeeewwww what a let off......
he said "consider ureself given a warning!" then said "good luck with ure uni course...."
oops.... i'll think twice before drifting at busy junctions from now on... and this is the first time ive ever been stopped by the cops..... EVER....

I reakon that the cop saw that you had 3 spokes and just thought this man is our king, they should have got on there hands and knees and worshiped the wheel.
I wonder if they cottoned on to why you had odd wheels on the car.

Fair enough, that copper had to check it out - suppose you'd be greatfull if it had been some thieving twat joyriding in your car just before setting fire to it - plod could have really ruined your day if it was he wasnt getting any off the missus.
Ive had 3 producers - once in my old Opel Manta (copper said he'd seen me driving it erratically a few days earlier, but went quiet when I proved the car had been SORN and without an engine until the previous day!)
The second time I was stopped was when I floored my mini entering a 60mph zone and set a car alarm off with the exhaust note - unfortunately, plod was parked next to that car!
3rd time I had no excuse, WPC just said rear light wasnt working
As you say, be polite (despite what your thinking!), appologise and hope he's in a good mood.

In my younger days me and three friend rode around on our mopeds for a week without our documents and clocked up about 35 producers between us then went to the cop shop with them all in one hit.
The desk officer couldn't wait to see the back of us.

u guys are so lucky, u only get stoped when cought doing stupidities ( i dont mean i dont like drifting lool but it can get stupid sometimes )
so here , all they need is to say they wanted to contrl your id, this gives them the right to stop whatever car they want , and open up the hole thing as if it where theirs. at least they act that way; this means that every friday inght, and everyother day when i come accross a cop , i get puled over, get id controled , car is inspected and so is the engine ( they still cant say its modded thy lack of mecanic inforation
) and then they let you off saying, your liucky dude, next time ill find something and fine you....thats their mentality here, and last time i got cought drifting on a ruondabout , i spent 5h at the police station explanin i was a reel twat that i didn't know how to drive my over (supremly mega ) powered 325i lool and was able to get away with it, but it seems the less your are intelligent here the more chance you can become cop, doesn't look to much of that case in GB , they seem to let you go a little easier ? or did some people here also have to spend a little time at the police station ?

I got pulled last night
by an unmarked citreon fucking picasso!?
Guy said he saw me "skidding" off a junction, and driving at crazy speeds through town, whihc is true, i floored it from a junction, and kept the foot planked through 1st and 2nd, fair cop, he had me on that. I just agreed with what he said, even when he called me a "clown"

omi's classic line. "i just don't understand it officer. the back end just went i was lucky to catch it in time. Must have been some diesel or some thing"
i fell quite shuck up really. i need a fag.
works a treat. better they think you cant drive than slap ya with a fine or points.
