Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help I've read through the other threads with this sort of issue but can't figure out what to do. I've just finished the install of a new Blaupunkt head unit which replaced a horrible silver one and has an Aux in to plug my MP3 into it.

I bought one of these looms from blue spot and most of it seems fine the only problem is the aerial. I'm pretty sure I've found the white wire that controls the signal and connected that to the remote/antenna link on the loom (it was pre-wired to No 5 on the bottom/power part of ISO).

Nothing happens. I've checked the ariel, cleaned and greased the connections and once I plugged it in it corrected itself from any movement I had made to it as I heard the whirring. It was working previously.

I'm officially stuck now. Should I try moving the white connection onto one of the other connections like power, perm power or illumination?

After being inundated with all these responses(!) I decided just too see what would happen if I joined different wires up.

I joined the white aerial wire into the kl.15/ignition wire and hey presto it all popped into life. Everything seems to be working now but if anyone thinks connecting these wires is not a good idea please post below before the car bursts into flames or something. Cheers.

Use a testlight mate. There should be a blue/white wire I think that is your remote turn on feed. It should light your testlight when the unit is turned on and go off when the head unit is turned off.
