1991 320i caddy,
i read somewhere , that if you turn ingnition on and do 5 full throttle presses your check display will show any codes , but when i tried it , all it did was stay flashing , ??????

i changed the injectors (4 USA m3 TYPE) + fitted FSE REG , It would nt run with the FSE so replaced it with std reg , ever since it running ok lowe down but seems to have lost all top end ?
could it have logged a lack of fuel code and put ECU IN DEFAULT MODE , is so how do u read the fault codes + fix it ?

Are the injectors bigger? I thought there was a problem with overfueling with larger injectors, might explain the running problems as it would be running very very rich?

I didn't think there was a LIMP HOME mode on the Motronic ECU from that era.
