Hi - Sorry, we're having a route change and will not be meeting people at Sparkford, Macdonalds. Please don't wait for me there.
Despite A303 looking best route for us ( I thought), miles out of our way to do that.
I am going to Salisbury, A30 to Shaftesbury and then to Sherborne Castle so will see you there. Leaving home at 7am so should be at Sherborne by 8.30 / 9am.
See you there
Jackie

It helps knowing I'll still be asleep!Gortour wrote:He said 'getting there' not 'leaving home'...
I'll probably get there about 9. The meet is at Sparkford at 830, about 9 miles north of the Castle if that helps Nathan.
I'll see you guys about lunchtime, I guess.
You all stocked up on burgers?

This whole thread has been very confusing to read
The above list copied from Gordon in the last post is wrong aswell as Jackie is on it twice?
I've even persuaded the other half to come down. Probably a bad idea

Cheers Iain, the list has been well messed up along the way with numbers being reduced then increased etc.
I do admit I didn't check properly after talking with Jackie, when she said she would still go to Sherborne, and I just added her name to the list.

I am meeting up with Pimpmobil and Adit at Rownhams at 0700 the we will push on to meet Bomber at Sparkford at 0830.
Seems the majority of others are going straight to Sherborne.
Bomber has paid for all the tickets and we need to reimburse him tomorrow - iirc its around a £10 each.
Gazebo going up, chairs etc, bring makings if you can and anything else to make the day comfortable. No blow up sheep though Gord.
Still nothing heard from Chris P ?????

An absolutely WONDERFUL day, an amazing turnout of cars of all ages and makes, lovely grounds, the castle to look around,
...and even stalls for Tan to spend my money at...
Well done to the guys who managed to help me put up the gazebo without instructions... Iain gave them to me to photocopy, I left them at home...
Nice to see some faces I haven't seen for a while, Nathan & family and Chris P and some of the guys I met at Hestercombe last year, and also nice to meet some new faces, Jeremy, John, Francis etc...
An excellent day enjoyed by all.
Knackered now, so I'll sort some pics tomorrow.

Great day !
Turnout first class by the Zoners, good to see faces new and old, and even a Welsh one lol !!
Gordon got first prize for forgetting the gazebo instructions, nice one son ................
Magellan (you know who you are you old scummer) gets second prize for the the strangest and longest route from Salisbury to Sherborne !!
Well done Bomber.
The quality and diversity of cars on show was awesome, not often you see over 30 Ferraris together let alone the hundreds of other cars of all ages, shapes and sizes.
