ECU Wiring Question

Hi, I am doing a 2.7 engine coversion on my 320i 1989. Can i just swap the ecu over, or will i need the wiring harness from the 325i as well? If so is it difficult? Thanks Ben.

Loom is the same. You can even use the ECU if you fit it with a chip suitable for the 2.7.
Note that it is usual to remove and refit engines complete with their looms attached.
Whichever loom you use, check out under the rubber covers for the connector under the inlet manifold, for the injector loom to the engine loom.
