Thanks guys....and Lizzie
Pictures do it justice to be honest. In the flesh the body is a bit tatty around the edges but all the usual areas like arches and scuttle etc are sound.
All ready got genuine replacement wings/bonnet/passenger door ready for the body to sorted and painted.

Nice looking ride you have there- loving the spoilerless boot
looks tough

Cheers Rob although as said before the camera does it a lot of justice.
Nothing major just loads of small dents and scratches really.Only real corosion is on the lower rear valance as most E30`s.
Will all be sorted in due course though
Suchy less is more as they say although I do keep having dirty thoughts of fitting a Tec1 rear

SE skirts were my other thought to :mad but then dechrome would be needed then front fogs.......Jhonno wrote:I have a Tech 1 spoiler sitting waiting to go on mine, but I really cant make up my mind.. If the spoiler goes on it needs skirts imo
Fook it ill stick to spoilerless

< That was me after getting out, all weekend and it eased off at about 4ish today, only briefly mind you
Pulls like a train great fun especially when Ive just climbed out of my M40 'powaered passion wagon.... bit lively on the rear mind you

I need to discuss a few 'tings with you.. Isnt it.

Why are you not happy with the m20 box ?Mechanically its pretty much sorted but ive used an M20 gearbox with the M50 and im really not happy with the fit although it does drive and feel nice so will be replacing with an M42 box soon.
Yeah spoilerless does look great- keep it that way and stop those immoral thoughts of Tech1 stuff

Resist the temptation to fit a spoiler or sideskirts - it looks smooth as f#ck as it is - you have given me fresh inspiration (time to bin the trim and get the filler out). Those seats look friggin ace too and it sits just right.
Would it be really wrong to remove the side rubbing strips and rear badge on my E30?!

That looks brilliant Tony. Such a solid car and modded in just the right ways.

Calm down boys,no spoiler is going near it
Have got a set of SE skirts ready but still not 100% sure on them.Think ill do a test fit and decide then.
Not really done anymore to it in the last couple of weeks.Did get the front strutbar fitted and bumpers have now been colour coded.
On the rolling road this Sunday so itll be interesting to see the results,if it doesnt go bang that is

Keep it clean mate with no side skirts. They are certainly contributory to the tiny bit of rust on my front wings (along with the recently removed mud flaps). If I could take my side skirts off I would - but it would leave mounting holes everywhere.

Looks cool Tony, clean and fresh

Stick up a picture because from the previous pictures it looks great from front/rear but no side pictures to judge.eko wrote:Thing is the SE sidskirts would blend well with the front spoiler which currently looks a bit `add on` from the side profile
Keep up the good work mate.
