help feeler gauges

i need a size from 0.3mm to 0.7mm.


but the gauges i borrowed only have numbers on them and they are 15,4,12,2,8,1 1/2,6,10,25.


its been a while since ive used these so if any body knows which blade i need that would be :cool:

use a combination (ie .3= .2+.1=.3) :cool:

all of the sizes that u posted are .15,.4,.12,.2,.8,.1 etc so if u need .3 then use .2+.1 yeah :D

These feelers must be marked in thou'. Most of you on here wouldn't even know what that is!
12 thou' is slightly more than 0.3mm. 0.7mm is 27.6 thou.
Conversion is X 39.37

ok mate see i knew u would know so which ones do u think i should use as this is so i can check the ingnition timing

on the side of them it says 1/1000 inch if that helps

Yea, that's thous!.
Just multiply your required feeler in mm by 39.37 and this will give you what you want in thou.
e.g. 0.7mm X 39.37 = 27.56 thou, so use 12, 8, 6 and 1 1/2 = 27.5.
In practice 15 and 12 = 27 would be close enough.

ok so according to haynes i am supposed to be able to put the feeler gauges inbetween the impulse generator and trigger wheel tabs but how am i supposed to do that you cant turn the trigger wheel to meet up to the impulse generator pleeese i need help

Get a ratchet and socket on the bottom pulley and manually crank the engine over...
