NEED HELP WITH WASTED SPARK

Hi guys got my car back from ants
bout 2 weeks ago and he fitted me with the wasted spark system (coilpack)

well today i got a bit bored and thought i see if i can do some adjustments to the car

when i plugged mly laptop in i was messing around with things like tps
i went to iopen a map and when i did the car went all funny
im guessing ive sent a map to the m/s which was without wasted spark

also i dont think ant saved the wasted spark map coz on the dates on the map the latest one is 17/12/2007

i need some sort iof help regarding changing the spark settings to wasted spark again
please help guys in stuck in the garage

OK, from memory.....

go to Basic Settings/constants

set the following outputs only.

"Generic Wheel"

D14 = Spark A
D15 = Spark C
D16 = Spark B

That will enable the two extra coil drivers, you must ensure the ign output is INVERTED !!! go to Spark>Spark Settings> output Inverted ? = YES.

then burn, and save as a new filename, Restomap or whatever.

Hmmm so that's what wasted spark is. I thought it was a p1ssed up electrician!

@Hass, Googlemail has pooped itself so will not send or recieve any emails, I've been trying for over an hour.

if you want to play more, go MT> constants> Fetch from ECU> save as map1

then open the spark table, go to tools>table transform> shift> then whatever you put in the box, EVERY map setting will shift by the value given, so 1 will add 1 degree accross the board, -1 will remove 1 degree etc, DO NOT use the SCALE tool, it will ruin the map

once tweaked > save the new map as more timing/less timing whatever you like, then BURN to the ECU

provided you save @ every change, you can always go back

your CR is now lower so MORE timing around idle should help ya out, use your WB02 or Ex gas tested to reset the base idle fuelling, whatever you add/remove would be accross the bord pretty much

Oh and the wasted map is not saved on your lappy, I used mine its faster
