All the best for a speedy recovery :winkeye:

A bit over zealous with the crop; tow bar removal! I'm shit with potato chop!

No light on the car at all. It's the west face of the hill fort. Need to be there about 8am ish for proper light.

Plus I don't own a speedlight, or have the nous to artificially light it correctly, so rely on sunshine!

Grammar corrected winkeye[/quote]

Ahhh, you'd have needed a bastard long exposure then to bring any light into the car at all. Reflectors would've helped but yeah a decent flash head is needed in your kit. Light sky + dark car + no light= :(
Thank you for the grammar corrections also winkeye

The light was all wrong so I've fumbled through photoshop, much akin to a teenage virgin boy trying to operate a bra clasp.
You clipped off a bit of the rear bumper. :D Did you even light the car at all? winkeye
(Seeing as you correct my grammar.) winkeye

i thought the point was to get a decent photo of a car for the site banner?
if you want to see trees and wildlife with perhaps a little token car squeezed in the side go to nature site :D

Did you look at the title? "Announcement: Photo Of The Month - August '08 - 'Summer'"

to qoute Ziggy:
The theme this month is "Summer". Apart from needing to involve an E30 in some way, you can interpret the theme however you like!

How does 'just' shots of a dirty e30 constitute summer? I think the point is the location and compostition as much as the car, and its not being judged on the prettiest car basis either but artistic interpretation of the task.

There is no judging - it's gonna be a poll for the whole zone to vote on...
& nope, it's not for the site banner (although I guess it may get used to make one if it happens to be suitable) :)

What's it for then? Is it just a competition or is the winning shot gonna be used for something?

Fun! Probably go on the homepage, might put it up at the pod, might make it on to the banner, but it's mainly just for the sake of it! :)

Made a photoshoot with one of my friend. The pictures are a bit low-res but that can be fixed easily.

The arches are due to be done August( ish ) I just had another service done to flush the last of the crap out nd I also got to get all my rubber pipes replaced as I split a pipe on the way to Bimmerflex.

I am planning to get the kit stripped and repainted at the same time as the archers too :)
