I have attempted to refit a new seat cable in my sport seat (driver), i can't seem to attach it on the lift up mechanism, i have tried attaching the cable on the lift lever on the side but then there is no way to stretch the cable to fit on the mechanism. Any ideas before i fork out cash
to get it done!

I did this recently, but it went in quite easily, iirc I put the handle end of the cable first, then fitted the lower part....I know it's not much help!
